Hire your own accountants. Pay once, not per hire

A headhunting system built for your firm, to find accountants who aren't available on job boards.

The seat in your firm has been open for months. It's not bad luck.

Every week an accounting role stays vacant, clients wait longer, your existing team carries more, and you work hours you didn't plan on. You've run the ad. You've maybe paid an agency. The vacancy is still there, because both of those tools have the same structural flaw:

Job ads only reach people looking at job ads.

The accountants worth hiring are employed, busy, and reasonably content. They will never see your listing. They move when a better situation is put in front of them.

Agencies rent you an outcome.

A percentage of the package, again for the next hire, and again after that. When the invoice is paid you own nothing — no list, no relationships, no machinery.

And it's only getting harder to hire an accountant the traditional way.

The system that finds your next accountant — and your tenth

Four stages, in the order they happen: set up, built and run by our team, and handed over after the first hire.

Stage 1

We map every accountant in reach of your firm

Every working accountant around your ZIP, mapped before anyone is contacted. Not applicants — including the ones who would never see an ad. Nothing is sent until you've seen the plan. You just have a short chat about the role, hours, billing model and what makes your firm worth moving for.

Stage 2

Outreach goes out in your firm's name

Outreach goes out under your name and your domain. Accountants ignore recruiters. They read messages from a partner. Compliance sits with hirr, not your firm. Your only job is to approve the messages before anything is sent.

Stage 3

Interested accountants reply straight to you

Replies land with you — the person who can actually say yes. Only accountants who have read about your firm and raised a hand. Everyone else is kept, not discarded. You just answer them. We build it so that takes minutes, and reply speed is one of the biggest levers in whether an interested accountant becomes a hire.

Stage 4

You hire. Everything stays with you.

Yours when we're done. We set it up, we run it, and upon the first hire we hand over the map, the infrastructure and every conversation — a system you keep using indefinitely. Every hire after the first costs nothing. You just interview, choose and hire.

“Is this legal?”

Outreach goes out under your firm's name, from public professional records, with an opt-out that actually works.

Public professional records

Contact details come from public professional sources and published firm pages — work contact points already listed for that role. Not a private inbox.

CAN-SPAM and TCPA

Every send is identified as your firm. Unsubscribe on email, STOP on texts, built in. Numbers used for SMS are handled under TCPA rules.

Opt-outs that stick

An accountant who opts out goes on a suppression list and is not contacted again. There is a log of who was contacted, when, and from which identity.

Pay every time, or pay once.

One of these two models leaves an asset behind at your firm.

hirr

Pay once

  • A fixed one-time fee, half only when you hire
  • The database, the outreach system, every conversation
  • The accountants around you, whether or not they're looking
  • Re-run the system you already have
  • Your firm's name, from a sending domain you own

A recruitment agency

Pay every time

  • A percentage of the package, on every hire
  • Nothing. They keep the candidates
  • Whoever is actively looking right now
  • Start from zero again
  • Their brand in the middle

Why hirr exists

Firms rent their recruitment from agencies, placement after placement, and never own any of it. hirr builds the system once, under the firm's name, and hands it over.

Hiring an accountant isn't a shortage problem. It's a reach problem. Reach is what we build — and we build it in your firm's name rather than our own.

FAQ

What does it cost?

One fixed fee, stated on the call and unchanged once quoted. Half to start, half only when you hire — when an accountant found through your system starts at your firm. No monthly fees, no percentage of salary, and no charge on any later hire: the system is yours to keep.

How is this different from a recruitment agency?

An agency charges a percentage per placement, every time, and keeps the machinery. hirr charges once, works under your firm's identity, and hands you the machinery. Every hire after the first is free because you own the system making them.

What if we don't hire anyone?

Then the second half of the fee never falls due. That half is due only when an accountant found through the system starts at your firm.

Who answers the candidates?

You do — and that's a feature. Accountants respond to the person who can actually say yes. We build the system so replies reach you instantly and answering takes minutes. Reply speed is one of the biggest levers in whether a candidate becomes a hire.

Do you cover our area?

Whether we can deliver for your specific commute shed and role is exactly what the call establishes — and if we can't, we'll say so on the call.

What happens after we hire?

Handover. The database, outreach infrastructure and every conversation becomes yours to keep running. Ongoing infrastructure costs (the sending domain, numbers) transfer at cost — there is no hirr margin on them.
